Экзегеза сюжетов продажи первородства Исава и благословения Иакова в Великом каноне: уникальное и схожее с церковной традицией Иакову и благословения Иакова (см. Быт. 25:29-34; 27:27-36). Соответствующее песнопение в деталях отличается от текста Священного Писания и в толковании от святоотеческой традиции, что говорит об определенной самостоятельности автора. Однако, схожесть с Преданием в эсхатологической экзегезе благословения Исааком Иакова говорит об определенном идейном отголоске этой традиции в каноне.

В статье рассматриваются события марта – сентября 1917 года, связанные с событиями февральского переворота и их влиянием на церковно-

приходскую жизнь в Костромской губернии. Описываются действия представителей духовенства и мирян Кинешемского викариатства Костромской епархии, в кампании по устранению от кафедры викария Костромской епархии епископа Севастиана.

В первой части настоящей статьи рассматривается история конфликта вокруг Кинешемского викариатства Костромской епархии в период марта –

апреля 1917 года.

Движение «непоминающих» в Костромской епархии

В конце 1920-х – 1930-х гг. в Костромской епархии определенное распространение получило движение «непоминающих» (за богослужением

советские власти Заместителя Патриаршего Местоблюстителя митрополита Сергия). Центром активности «непоминающих» в Костромской епархии был Кинешемский район, входивший тогда в ее состав. Возглавляли участников движения епископ Николай (Голубев), затем епископ Макарий (Кармазин). К началу 1940-х гг. движение «непоминающих» (правая церковная оппозиция) в Костромской епархии было в основном подавлено репрессивными мерами.

История и предыстория создания Святой Богородичной Канавки во дни земной жизни преподобного Серафима Саровского

Святая Канавка славится во всем православном мире как благодатное и чудотворное место. Она устроена по благословению Богородицы, данному преподобному Серафиму Саровскому в конце 1825 года. В статье изложена история получения им благословения и история получения земельного участка, указанного Пресвятой Девой. По данным раскопок описан облик святого сооружения в 1829-1832 годах.

История воссоздания Святой Богородичной Канавки в XIX веке при игумении Марии (Ушаковой)

Святая Канавка строилась в течение 175 лет в три этапа. В статье рассмотрен второй этап строительства. На этом этапе не удалось выполнить благословение преподобного Серафима, создать ров глубиной 3 аршиа. В статье названы погрешности, допущенные при реконструкции Святой Канавки на втором этапе её строительства.

Молитва на Святой Богородичной Канавке

По Святой Богородичной Канавке в Свято-Троицком Серафимо-Дивеевском женском монастыре Нижегородской епархии ежедневно во главе с игуменией проходят с молитвой насельницы монастыря и сотни, а по праздникам до 10000 тысяч паломников. К общей молитве они добавляют свои личные благодарения и прошения. В статье приведены сведения о молитвенном правиле и чудесной помощи по молитвам на Святой Канавке.

В настоящей статье представлен обзор книги «Костромская духовная семинария. Историческая энциклопедия». Это первая и не имеющая аналогов в отечественной исторической науке энциклопедия охватывает 270-летний путь одного из старейших высших учебных заведений России — Костромской духовной семинарии. Энциклопедия состоит из двух частей. В

первой части представлен подробный очерк по истории семинарии, который разделен на несколько временных отрезков. Вторая часть представляет собой полный список воспитанников Костромской духовной семинарии. Книга имеет общенациональное значение, поскольку многие воспитанники и преподаватели Костромской духовной семинарии прославили свое Отечество в разных регионах, странах и сферах деятельности. Книга является безусловным и ценным вкладом в историческую науку.

An exegesis of the plots of the sale of birthright of Esau and the blessings of Jacob in the Grand Canon: the unique and the similar to church tradition

The themes of the stories of Esau selling his birthright to Jacob and the blessing of Jacob (see Gen. 25: 29-34; 27: 27-36) are represented in the Great Canon. Howe ver, the hymnographic narration differs in detail from the text of Holy Scripture, while the interpretation differs in part from the patristic tradition, which testifi es to a certain independence of its author. Nevertheless, similarity with the tradition in the eschatological exegesis of the blessing of Jacob by Isaac speaks to a certain echo of the ideas of this tradition in the Great Canon.

From the history of the Kostroma diocese in 1917: the confl ict around Kineshma vicariate (Part one)

The article discusses the events of March – September 1917, related to the events of the February coup and their infl uence on the parish life in the Kostroma province. It describes the actions of representatives of the clergy and laity of the Kineshma vicariate of the Kostroma diocese, in a campaign to eliminate bishop Sevastian from the Vicar Chair of the Kostroma diocese.

The fi rst part of this article discusses the history of the confl ict around the Kineshma Vicariate of the Kostroma diocese during the period from March up to April 1917.

Movement of «non-commemorators» in the Kostroma Dioceses

At the end of the 1920s – 1930s, the movement of «non-commemorators» (at the service of the Soviet authorities of the Deputy Patriarchal Locum Tenens of Metropolitan Sergius) became widespread in the Kostroma diocese. The center of activity «non-commemorators» in the Kostroma diocese was Kineshma district, being a part of its structure at that time. The members of the movement were headed by Bishop Nicholas (Golubev), by then Bishop Macarius (Karmazin). At the beginning of the 1940s, the movement of «non-commemorators» (right-wing Church opposition) in the Kostroma diocese was mainly suppressed by repressive measures.

History of the creation of the Holy Moat of the Virgin during the earthlylife of the saint Seraphim of Sarov

The holy Ditch is known as the gracious and miraculous place in the whole Orthodox world. It was made according to direct instructions of the HolyVirgin, which had been given to St. Seraphim of Sarov at the end of 1825. The article describes the history of communication of St. Seraphim with the Holy Virgin and the history of acquisition of the land, pointed by Her. the construction progress in 1829-1832. According to the excavations there was given a description of the form of the holy moat in 1829-1832 years.

The story of recreating the Holy Moat of the Virgin in the XIX-th century by abbess Maria (Ushakova)

The holy moat was being built for 175 years in three stages. The article focuses on the second stage. At that time it failed to fulfi ll the blessing of the most reverend Seraphim to dig the holy moat to a predetermined depth. The article describes the causes of inaccuracy while reconstructing the moat at the second stage. The article names the errors in the structure of the holy moat, which were admitted by the abbes Maria.

The prayer rule on the Holy Moat of the Virgin

In the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky female Convent of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese there is a path along the shaft above the moat of the Virgin Mary. The nuns of the monastery walk along this path with the prayer rule every

day, and on holiday days there are even up to 10,000 of pilgrims there. The article provides information about the prayer rule and the miraculous divine help due to this prayer, in particular about the recovery of the lame.

Encyclopedia consists of two parts. The fi rst part represents a detailed essay on the history of the seminary, which is divided into several time periods. The second part is a complete list of students from the Kostroma Theological Seminary. The book is of national importance, since many students and teachers of the Kostroma Theological Seminary glorifi ed their Fatherland in different regions, countries and areas of activity. The book is an unconditional and valuable contribution to historical science.
